The Long Room is one of the most coveted spaces in Armoury House. The beautiful wood-panelled walls and ornate red, gold and white detailing throughout help create a truly impressive space. The Long Room’s large windows not only flood the room with natural light, they also offer inspiring views over the stunning five-acre Artillery Garden.

The Long Room has hosted an exceptional list of guests, and we would like to welcome you and your guests for an evening reception in our exquisite banqueting space. Our in-house catering team will work with you and tailor the menu to your dietary requirements and preferences. Available for exclusive hires in the evening, The Long Room is ideal for banquets, private receptions, gala dinners and exclusive parties.

Also licensed for wedding ceremonies, The Long Room is perfect for an evening ceremony up to 150 guests. We can transform this space into a reception layout whilst you and your guests take photographs in our unique and historical venue. Whatever your plan is for your wedding celebrations, we will make it a memorable one.

As we are reopening Searcys venues, we make sure that each space gets
accredited with “We’re Good to Go” industry standard, launched by VisitBritain, UK’s
national tourist board.

This means that each venue adheres to the respective Government and public
health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checks we have
the required processes in place.

It is fully supported by Meetings Industry Association (MIA) that encourages event
venues to apply for consumer-facing accreditation.

About The HAC

The HAC is quite unlike any other City venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a five-acre garden hidden away in a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from Moorgate.

Inside this unique, historic London venue offers a wide variety of event spaces for everything from conferences, meetings and awards dinners to summer and Christmas parties and of course wedding ceremonies and receptions. From small meeting rooms for 10 people through to the Prince Consort Rooms which seats up to 400 guests, the HAC is able to offer the perfect setting for every type of event.

Outside the stunning five acres, Artillery Garden provides the ideal backdrop for all these events as well as being available to hire for sports such as cricket, rugby, softball, and football as well as company fun days, team building and barbecues.
