Host rules

1. Cancellation
• Cancellations within 7 days of the event are fully chargeable.
2. Venue Use
• The venue may only be used for the approved event purpose.
• All event activity, including setup and pack-down, must take place within the hired time.
• All guests must leave the premises by the agreed end time.
3. Behaviour & Safety
• Illegal, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour is strictly prohibited.
• Management reserves the right to remove any guest who fails to comply.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the building.
• No animals permitted except registered assistance dogs.
4. Equipment & Decoration Restrictions
• Nothing may be fixed, taped, pinned, screwed, or attached to any walls, fixtures, or surfaces.
• Venue lighting, electrics, heating, cabling, or equipment must not be altered or interfered with.
• Only permitted equipment may be used; misuse may result in charges.
5. Third-Party Suppliers
• All external suppliers (caterers, entertainers, etc.) must provide a risk assessment, method statement, and valid public liability insurance at least 7 days before the event.
• No external security staff may be used without written approval.
6. Damage & Cleaning
• The hirer is financially responsible for any damage caused by guests, suppliers, or attendees.
• The venue must be left clean, tidy, and free of equipment and decorations.
• Additional cleaning or repair costs will be deducted from the damages deposit or invoiced separately.
7. Compliance
Failure to adhere to these rules may result in:
• Immediate termination of the event,
• Loss of deposit,
• Additional charges, or
• Refusal of future bookings.
