There’s plenty of natural daylight, which helps keep the room feeling fresh during longer sessions.
One of its main advantages is the layout around it. The Barkston sits right next to the Marston and Hougham Suites, which makes it easy to use those rooms as breakout spaces. You can run your main presentation in Barkston, then split into smaller groups nearby for workshops or private discussions without moving far.

- No Smoking or Vaping inside the building. Guest must go outside the front of the hotel if they wish to smoke.
- Any damage to the rooms will result in an extra charge.
- Check-In from 3pm
- Check-Out by 11am
- Flexible options for early arrival of 12pm is available for £25, and late departure of 2pm for £35. Both must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
- Minimum age for check-In is to be at least 18 years old.
- We are a dog friendly hotel, therefore have a charge of £15 per dog, per night. Maximum 2 dogs.
- While dogs aren't allowed in the main restaurant, they are welcome to join you in the Bar or Lounge for dining.
- Credit and debit cards are required for all onsite payments and a £50 security deposit is typically taken from all guests upon arrival.
- External catering and BYO alcohol are strictly prohibited. The venue provides all food and beverage services.
- Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests.
- EV charger available x 1. £15 a day.
