About this space

The Museum’s new Conference facility opened in Spring 2025 following the complete renovation of The Newcastle Arms former ballroom. The Conference room is available for hire for exhibitions, business meetings, training sessions, talks, parties and celebration events. It is ideal for AGMs and corporate days having direct access to the Museum providing added interest and entertainment with tours and item handling experience available.

The room is easily accessible being one minute off the A1 and five miles from the intercity rail station of East Retford, which is under an hour and a half from London. There is a large free car park with direct access to the Conference room via six shallow steps.
