The Newton Suite sits right in the centre of the hotel and works well for events where you want something professional but still comfortable. It has plenty of natural light and direct access to a private courtyard garden, which makes it easy for guests to step outside for a break between sessions or during a dinner. The space feels straightforward and easy to use, whether you’re setting up for a meeting or a celebration.

It’s a good fit for medium-sized conferences, training workshops, smaller wedding ceremonies, private dinners, or birthday parties. The room can be arranged to suit what you’re doing — up to 60 for banquet dining, 100 theatre-style, or 25 in a boardroom or U-shape layout. The technical setup is already in place, so you’re not starting from scratch.

Host rules

- No Smoking or Vaping inside the building. Guest must go outside the front of the hotel if they wish to smoke.
- Any damage to the rooms will result in an extra charge.
- Check-In from 3pm
- Check-Out by 11am
- Flexible options for early arrival of 12pm is available for £25, and late departure of 2pm for £35. Both must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
- Minimum age for check-In is to be at least 18 years old.
- We are a dog friendly hotel, therefore have a charge of £15 per dog, per night. Maximum 2 dogs.
- While dogs aren't allowed in the main restaurant, they are welcome to join you in the Bar or Lounge for dining.
- Credit and debit cards are required for all onsite payments and a £50 security deposit is typically taken from all guests upon arrival.
- External catering and BYO alcohol are strictly prohibited. The venue provides all food and beverage services.
- Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests.
