The Media Lab at VIVO is a 411 sq. ft. space set up for editing, sound work, and small screenings. With a full HD projector, pro speakers, and acoustic treatment, it’s designed for focused production needs. It features tables, a 10-foot ceiling, and space for test viewings or group workshops. The Media Lab is fully accessible, has Wi-Fi, and parking is easy in the evenings.

About VIVO Media Arts Centre
VIVO Media Arts Centre is a cultural hub and not-for-profit charitable society dedicated to supporting independent media artists and producers in the city and region. Every year, we provide dozens of artists and other art centres with free or affordable resources for all aspects of the media creation cycle. We maintain public access to an up-to-date inventory of specialized equipment and software, two production studios, and a presentation venue.
We host video screenings, exhibitions of new work, production projects, and skill-sharing workshops, welcoming hundreds of visitors and program participants. Video Out is VIVO’s distribution service, ensuring that locally made video art can reach audiences at festivals and galleries worldwide. The Crista Dahl Media Library and Archive preserves and animates histories that would otherwise be lost, supporting original community-based research and knowledge.
