Rules of the space

Host rules

Booking & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
Full payment must be completed before the event start time unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Security deposit may be required for selected events.
Additional charges may apply for damages, overtime, or extra cleaning.

Event Timing
Clients must follow the agreed event schedule.
Setup and cleanup times must remain within the booked hours.
Overtime charges apply for events exceeding the scheduled booking time.

Guest Responsibility
The renter is responsible for the conduct and behavior of all guests.
Any damages caused by guests will be charged to the renter.
Illegal activities, violence, or disorderly conduct are strictly prohibited.

Food & Beverage
Outside food or catering is only permitted with prior approval.
Alcohol service must comply with Ontario liquor laws and permit requirements.
No underage drinking is allowed on the premises.
Music & Entertainment
Music volume must comply with local noise regulations.
DJs, live music, and entertainment setups must be approved in advance.
Events must end at the agreed closing time.

Decorations
No nails, screws, staples, confetti, glitter, smoke bombs, or open flames allowed.
Decorations must not damage walls, floors, ceilings, or furniture.
Candles are permitted only if enclosed safely.

Safety & Security
Emergency exits must remain clear at all times.
Smoking or vaping inside the hall is strictly prohibited.
Security personnel may be required for certain events.

Cleaning & Damages
Basic cleaning is included; excessive mess may result in additional cleaning fees.
Any damage to the venue, equipment, or furniture will be charged accordingly.

Liability
Royal Event Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
Management reserves the right to end any event violating venue policies without refund.
