Originally completed in 1880, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church suffered destruction due to the 1906 earthquake and fire. However, it was resurrected in the Mission Revival style and consecrated on April 14, 1912.
Adorned with frescoes in Renaissance and Baroque styles by Luigi Brusatori, an esteemed Italian painter, the interior was fully embellished by 1916. Notably, the church boasts California's largest unaltered 19th-century mechanical pipe organ.
