How to rent cheap venues

1. First of all, if you haven’t already, take a look at our list of affordable venues. 2. The second step is to book your venue as early as possible. The longer you wait, the more expensive it could get. If you’re booking a space for a larger event like a big wedding or a large company party, then you’ll want to make sure that you're booking at least one year before the day of the event so that you can get the best deal on your chosen venue.
3. Think about who will be attending your event and how many people will be coming so that you can choose a venue that's appropriate for the number of guests you expect to attend. You should also consider the number of rooms needed for each activity during the event (such as one room for seating and another room for dancing). If there are multiple activities going on at once, it may be necessary to have several rooms available instead of just one large room for everyone to use at the same time. 5. The time of year that you book is also important (so make sure to book off-season). If you're planning an event in Las Vegas during prime time (Spring Break, New Year's Eve), chances are it'll cost more than if you book during the off-season (fall or winter), especially when it comes to wedding venues. If you're looking for a wedding venue in Vegas, don't expect them to have discounted rates during peak season!
6. DIY decorations. If you want to save money on decorations, create your own! You can do this by raiding your cupboards and supplies. See what you have at home before you go and buy any bits and bobs, you’ll be surprised at what you could already have. There are other good options at thrift or dollar stores, where you can get some gems for a fraction of the price. If you’re a fan of thrifting, that’s also a huge plus!
7. If possible, try to negotiate a discount. Some venues could offer even up to 20% off! Sometimes the venue hosts will have their own terms when it comes to getting the discount, and you might have to be flexible with dates and times, as well as what part of the venue you can book if you’re not planning on renting the whole space. Ask about any extra charges or hidden costs before you sign the contract. Sometimes small fees add up, and it turns out you have to pay more than originally said. Have everything on paper and ask all the appropriate questions before closing the deal.
