General Use
- No external food, drink, alcohol, or smoking without prior approval
- Only guide and assistance dogs allowed
- Filming must be declared in advance and approved by staff
- Bookings promoting extremism, violence, or criminal activity will not be accepted
Booking and Access
- Bookings are first come, first served and confirmed only after full payment
- No access before booking time; room must be vacated on time
- Overstays are charged at double the published rate
- Community rate available for registered charities and non-profits (not for ticketed events)
Conduct and Safety
- Excessive noise must be reduced on request or the booking may be terminated
- Children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times
- Users must follow fire safety procedures and ensure others do the same
Equipment and Responsibilities
- All electrical equipment brought in must be PAT tested and declared in advance
- Equipment is the user’s responsibility and must be removed after use
- Room must be left clean, with rubbish cleared and library items washed
- Any damages to property or equipment will be charged to the hirer
Cancellations
- More than 2 months’ notice: full refund
- Less than 2 months’ notice: no refund
About Grove Vale Library
The library offers a focused meeting space in a convenient South London location. It is close to East Dulwich Railway Station and multiple bus stops. Hire our meeting room for meetings, study groups, and workshops.
The room fits up to 10 guests. Our venue is wheelchair accessible and disabled-positive. We prioritize everyone's comfort and satisfaction. We have an adapted toilet and support for assistance dogs.
