The location was great and the history of the building was good.
The whole thing was so unbelievably disorganised. The events co-coordinator wasn't there to help with the set up and seemingly didn't brief the production team who were there to help us. This meant that whilst I was trying to run an event for 100 people, I was also having to run through basic things like the running for our day (for a third time!) to someone who HADN'T been briefed, but was supposed to be helping us due to the absence of the event coordinator. We ran the same event in a difference city the next day and the person who was in charge of our event was there before us, helped us with all the set-up and was on hand and helpful the whole way through our event. The event coordinator was aggressive in her manner and intimidating. It wasn't just me that thought this. Having been through the running of the day with the event coordinator and then the production team, they STILL bought lunch out over an hour before it was due to be served. As we were leaving they assured us we could leave some items to be collected and that they would be safe with them, but they sent them incorrectly to another client and then sent me only half of the product, when they managed to collect them. We were not compensated for any of the stress this event caused and merely let us know we could have a discount if we come back, which we wont. I would avoid using this as a venue again, which is such a shame as we had a lot of business to put your way.
