About this space

The Kingfisher Suites can be hired during the daytime without the need for a full closure to the public with stunning views of Regents Canal to your left and the nature reserve in front.

Guests will have exclusive access to the Kingfisher Suites, which can be divided into two event spaces for daytime meetings.

The Kingfisher Cafe will be on hand to provide any catering or refreshment packages and you will have access to our tables, chairs, projector and screen as part of the venue hire fee.

We kindly ask guests to respect their surroundings at Camley Street Natural Park as we are based on a unique nature reserve. Our volunteers work hard to protect the conservation and wildlife onsite and we ask guests to remain on the paths.
Live Music and DJs are permitted and must adhere to a 85 db sound limit and not include amplified instruments or drums in their set up.
Music must be located inside the venue after 21:00 to respect surrounding wildlife and neighbours.
All catering must be confirmed by our list of approved suppliers and we will provide the bar service for you.

It was a lovely light space, clean and the toilets were convenient next to the room. It was easy to find, only 10 minutes from Kings Cross and in a lovely green, rural setting. The staff were helpful when we needed more chairs. Once air conditioning was turned on it was a good temperature.
I hadn't realised it was the only indoor space and right next to the cafe kitchen. We could hear some chatter and clearing of plates etc at certain times. The public could also see into the room from the outdoor cafe area and a few tried to come in when they didn't realise it was a private booking. This was resolved quickly by adding a notice on the door. The venue couldn't be flexible on times for the half day so we had to wait in the cold until the room was available, there was no indoor waiting space. We had known there was no indoor space but a little more flexibility on timings would have been helpful. The water ran out so we had to ask for more, staff didn't come and check if we needed more drinks/water. They couldn't accommodate cabaret style layout with tables and chairs for our sized group which could have been clearer from the details provided before booking. It meant we had to sit in small groups with nothing to lean on. A floorplan layout of the cafe and room might be helpful before booking so you can see how little other space there is.
