The ground floor of the museum is ideal for the smaller networking or launch event, and for pre-dinner drinks when the upper floor is to be used for dining. It is dominated by colourful exhibitions and makes for dramatic surroundings that are sure to get people talking.

There is access to an outdoor canalside area until 22:00, overlooking an urban beauty spot that is Battlebridge Canal basin. The ground floor may also be used for small dinners in impressive surroundings, for up to 30 people.

Measurements are approximate. Prices are samples and DO NOT INCLUDE VAT which will be added.

This varies from dry hire to a package including a range of services such as lighting, equipment, labour for set-up, table covers, ice, bar staff, glass hire and other things.

There are no catering prices. Choose your own caterer, bring your own food, go hungry - the choice is yours. We do not charge corkage or supply alcohol - please arrange your own supply. (we can supply bar staff and logistics staff if desired)

About London Canal Museum

The London Canal Museum is a fine waterside Victorian heritage building originally used to store imported ice. Although modified over the years, it retains an industrial heritage atmosphere to which modern amenities including air-conditioning have been added. Guests may arrive by boat as well as the excellent public transport available in the area.

There are two floors and both may be used for events. Surrounded by colourful exhibits of the canal age, networking and guest mingling is easy - there is plenty to talk about here so it is easy to start a conversation with a stranger! The two floors lend themselves perfectly to two-part events such as a presentation followed by networking drinks, or a drinks reception before a dinner. We also do launches, award ceremonies, corporate entertainment and if your event is bizarre and unusual we'll take it in our stride!

We host a variety of weekday events:
-In the evenings we host networking events, conferences, seminars, award ceremonies, dinners, and launch parties for up to 200 guests standing, 120 seated for a meal, or 160 for a conference.

-On Mondays the museum is available for daytime hire for conferences and other daytime functions

-Breakfast meetings ending by 10:00.
