The initial lighting setup and up to 3 Colorama paper backdrop usage are included.
If you want help with the lights for the duration of the shoot
Basic Rate = £50 per hour
With assistance rate = £60 per hour (help with changing lighting, props, backdrops etc. this is charged at the studio, mandatory for music videos)
Minimum booking - 2hrs weekdays / 3 hrs weekends
Arch Photo Studio is a friendly London photography studio for hire in Camberwell. Located about a mile south of Elephant & Castle down Walworth Road. The studio is run by Robbie Ewing, a photographer and small business owner. We offer a creative client-friendly service and are building a repeat client base who appreciate the effort we put in to ensure their shoots go smoothly
For still photography, we have eight Godox Pro Flash Heads with Nikon, Canon, Fuji & Sony triggers.

For Video & Film work we have 8 continuous lights

3 x Godox SL60w LED spotlight with a Bowens mounts

We have a range of light modifiers that can fit on the flash heads and also the LED Spots. These include 120cm Octobox, square softboxes and strip softboxes, beauty dishes, snoot, fresnel spot, gobo spot projector, film projector, 90cm parabolic softbox, 130cm Umbrella Softbox, and various other umbrellas and standard reflector with grids.
We also have a range of coloured gels & backdrops along with props that you can use to create different vibes and scenes.
Please note the studio isn’t soundproofed and it's a railway arch so there is a train noise on a regular basis. It’s not suitable for shooting long sequences.

Robbie was very helpful while we were shooting and we got some really good shots. There were loads of props available and all the equipment we needed. Will definitely be booking again
The venue was very well equipped and decent size (more sizeable than it seems in the pictures). Robbie was punctual, affable, attentive and helpful throughout the day. He was committed to helping us get the lighting and setups we needed for our shoot, even providing set dressing when possible. Highly recommended.
Robbie is extremely helpful - he assisted with lights and gave us many options we could explore to enhance our image composition. He had every utensil and tool to assist with the shoot as well. The studio also has lots of props, backgrounds, and equipment which allowed us to experiment more. The walls are quite high and the location is spacious.
The only issue with the location was accessibility getting there via train. There are accessible bus routes but no nearby stations. There is also the occasional rumble from the trains above which didn’t affect our photoshoot, but would make video and sound recording harder.
About Arch Photo Studio
Arch Photo Studio is a flexible studio space located in a 1200sq ft railway arch off Camberwell Road in south London. Approx 800sq ft of the arch space has been set up for photography and videography. When normal times return it will also be suitable for running practical workshops and events.
My aim is to provide an affordable south London photo studio hire space for photographers, creatives, and small business owners who lack their own lighting kit. We have flash and continuous lighting that is included in the rental price, they just need a camera / their own photographer. Basically, it's a space to be creative set up by a photographer.
