About this space

YUU Spitalfields is a pan-Asian restaurant and bar defined by a dramatic ceiling of amber birdcage pendant lights.

Design: The interior pairs dark industrial finishes and warm timber surfaces around a long central bar and a mix of high stools and banquette seating. Bold pop-art murals and textured upholstery add colour to the otherwise low-lit, intimate space.

Features: A full-service bar serves signature cocktails and Asian-inspired drinks. A dedicated PA system and speakers are available, and the venue allows its own music or external DJs subject to a noise restriction. Wi‑Fi and air conditioning are provided. The venue has natural light in parts, step-free guest access and is wheelchair accessible, and outdoor seating is available.

Ideal for: Groups of friends and colleagues seeking a relaxed, social setting for seated sharing meals or standing receptions.

What sets it apart: An open-plan kitchen runs alongside the bar, giving guests a front-row view of chefs preparing dishes.

What guests say: The restaurant interior is stylish and lively and the staff provide attentive, fast service.

Fantastic venue - staff went above and beyond to make my event everything I wanted and more. Very flexible and easy to work with, with a very fast response time for pre-booking enquiries and pre-event correspondence. Really great location as well. Would definitely love to use them again.
