Host rules
The Secret Reading Room is a curated and intimate venue.
We kindly ask all guests to treat the space with care and respect.
• Access, set up and pack down time must be included within your booked hire period.
• The venue must be returned to its original condition before departure.
• Furniture may be moved but must be placed back as found.
• Decorations are welcome but must not cause damage. No nails, screws, tape or adhesive materials on walls, shelving or painted surfaces.
• Confetti, glitter and open flame candles are not permitted.
• Music must be kept at a low level in respect of neighbouring tenants.
• No smoking inside the venue.
• All external catering must be agreed in advance.
Any damages, breakages or excessive cleaning required following your booking will be invoiced accordingly.
We reserve the right to refuse bookings that do not align with the nature of the space.
We reserve the right to end a booking early if venue rules are not respected.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
