About Town & Country Hotel

The Town & Country Hotel has been a focal point in the Inner West of Sydney for centuries. Created in 1821, this heritage building has stood the test of time in an evolving suburb, proving that the Aussie spirit still lives on.

It is an iconic venue primarily due to the legendary Slim Dusty claiming the pub as his ‘local’. The TCH was put on the map when Dusty filmed his video clip for the hit song ‘Duncan’ in the pub and also made reference to it in the lyrics. You’ll often find our patrons talking about Slim and the legacy he left behind.
