The venue has a perfect blank canvas for any event set up, plus the available furnitures (for hire at a small cost) are pretty too. The communication during the whole process was smooth and responsive, bonus point for an on-site manager being there for the entire event to assist with any queries.
It's not easy to find an on-street parking spots as it's a residential area, there are paid parking nearby to just keep that in mind.
About Alt House
ALT - HOUSE studio is located in the heart of Fitzroy, just off Brunswick Street. The space features options for natural light and studio light set-up spaces, and 48 square-meters of polished concrete floors and beautiful heritage wooden pillars from floor to 4m high ceiling.
With a beautiful heritage industrial north-facing window, the space features beautiful soft natural light from morning to mid afternoon. Included alongside with a black-out blind if needed.
The shooting space also features an exposed brick wall, wooden floor area and painted white brick wall.
The studio is equipped with both GODOX and BRONCOLOUR studio lighting kits, with lighting assistant services also available.
Our space is wheelchair friendly, and equipped with a kitchen, gender neutral bathroom, portable room divider for creating a custom changing space, and meeting/lunch areas.
The space features ground level double door access through the roller door, the studio is a 2 minute walk to Brunswick street and the No. 11 tram. 2 - 3HR free parking is located on Moor Street, and close by on adjacent Young Street.
10 minute bump in and out is accessible through driveway at the roller door opening.
The space is completely mobile and everything can be arranged custom to the shoot or pop-up event.
