About this space

Exclusive use of Hustle Studios, including the Living Room & The Balcony Room, The Garden Room, Lé Grand Bureau, Lé Petit Bureau, kitchen, outdoor terrace and two bathrooms.

Please note, there is a mail alcove halfway up the first flight of stairs and some of our business customers may come to pick-up their mail, but they do not access the main parts of the studio.

Our beautiful and quirky studio is perfect for filming and photoshoots, team offsites, product launches and small events like baby showers and bridal showers or a small Cocktail party.

Our studio rooms are available 7 days a week. The day session runs from 7am til 5pm and the evening session from 5.30pm til 10pm.

To keep costs low we are now predominantly Self Service. If this is not suitable for you we offer Full Service for an extra $150 per day or evening session.

BYO food and drinks: If you are bringing in food and drinks there is a $150 cleaning fee and $500 refundable bond.

Host rules

No parties, external speakers or DJ's and no candles. Smoking only allowed on the balcony which is off The Balcony Room.

A cleaning fee applies for events that BYO food and drinks and a refundable bond may also apply.

Self service:

No staff on-site, contact-free self service.

We will give you the code to get in the front door and how to find your room.

Full instructions with wifi and bluetooth speaker passwords etc will be provided after full payment.

Help yourself to tea/coffee and chilled water from the shared kitchen. Please put all used water glasses and mugs in the dishwasher before you leave.

Glassware, crockery and cutlery hire available for up to 20 pax - $129 including washing up.

You are welcome to move the tables and use the extra chairs available. Please return the furniture to the original position before you leave.

Please place all rubbish in the rubbish bins, turn off the lights and close the front door when you leave.

Full service - $150 extra:

A fully staff member will meet you at the studio at a time convenient for you and return after you leave, to tidy up. Please note, they will not be on-site throughout the whole session. If you need on-site support throughout the entire session please contact us for a quote.

They will let you into the studio and set-up the room in your desired configuration including chilled water and glasses on the table.

Assist you to connect to the wifi, TV and air-con.

The staff member will also tidy up the room and kitchen after you leave, including washing up dishes and placing rubbish in the rubbish bins.

Hellen was great at communicating to arrange the booking. Incredibly friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. Cold water jugs in the fridge were very much appreciated given the heat that day!

Contacting the host was really difficult and we were late to enter the booking. We did not receive access instructions and waited 15 minutes for someone to return our calls to share the code. This delayed all our vendors for the event. The images listed are a slightly misleading visual of the space. It's quite a dated, older building interior with eclectic style and decor. Pillows were quite dirty the chairs weren't overly nice. We thought the layout was similar to a house - each room connected. This wasn't the case either. We made the space work well for what we needed and only used 1 room due to the layout of the space and with all the decor we brought with us, but i think transparency and more truthful images would be better for future bookings. Speakers either couldn't connect to our phones, or the volume would be far too low. Glassware was dirty and we had to wash some ourselves before it could be used The building was also incredibly hot and took a really long time to cool down too. Given it was a 30+ degree day it would have been nice if the space was cooled before arriving.

We booked the whole first floor for a bridal shower and it was perfect! Laura is a fantastic host and her service alone would make me hire this venue again. She was super responsive with answering all my questions and very accommodating, thank you again Laura. The space is super cute and well furnished, and we were able to add our own decorations too. Great location and had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend.

FAQ

Tables can be moved to one side for food and drinks, with one or two available for seating. The outdoor deck can also be used.

Guests use a door code to enter.

Yes, external decorators are permitted, but decorations must be removed by the hirer. Candles, glitter, confetti, confetti-filled balloons and small sparkly decorations are not permitted because they can become stuck in the old parquetry floors.
