A compact ground-floor venue perfect for small groups, The Laboratory (known as ‘The Lab’) opens out to a covered deck, boasting spectacular waterside views of Sydney Harbour, the iconic Bridge, and Luna Park.
It is incredibly versatile, allowing for a seated or standing indoor-outdoor experience. The mix of neutral modern finishes, exposed heritage features, and high ceilings gives a sense of space despite its modest dimensions.

- No smoking in the building.
- No hot drinks and beverages in the theatre.
- Hirer not permitted to touch any technical equipment without a ATYP staff member present
- No Alcohol after 10pm
- No outside alcohol is to be brought into the venue without a catering license
- Shared Foyer is available in a non- exclusive capacity for client use when hiring the Rebel Theatre but must be alerted to in advance as it will be a negotiation with other building tenants.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
