Host rules
No birthday parties in the 16-21 age bracket.
No smoking in the building.
No congregating outside the front past 11pm.
The courtyard must be cleared at 11pm.
Strict music cut off time due to the venue being located in a residential area. 10pm on weekdays and Sundays, 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
All information submitted by the hirer (ie purpose of the event, number of attendees) must be true and up to date. In the event where the hirer has submitted false or misleading information, The Russian House reserves the right to cancel the booking and no refund will be made to the hirer.

Built in 1884, the Russian House served as the Friendly Societies Dispensary until the 1950s-60s. It remains one of Melbourne's beloved Victorian-era structures with its historical charm intact.
