About Freda's Bistro
Freda’s is a dynamic and welcoming space that transforms quickly from day to night. Leaning heavily on Italian and French bistro traditions for the lighter lunch and more extravagent dinner menus.
A space suitable for your early morning coffee, long lunches, quick and casual aperativo in the early evening or nights perched in the window seats working your way through our carefully curated seasonal menu. Deeper into the venue are tables ranging from intimate to long casual groups, to linen-draped tables on the upper level with a space that is suited for larger groups to enjoy the exclusively of being in a slightly different space to the rest of the restaurant.
Anything from business meetings, date-night, ladies’ lunch, family gatherings, special celebrations, or just a place to rely on when you need some nurturing – your ‘local’- there’s the right table for you.
Parking is at a premium in Brunswick Street during the day but especially at night. There are two car parks on Rose street- one available until 7pm and the other is 24 hour parking.
Tram 11-stop 17 will be your best friend taking you less than 100m walk away. Tram 96-stop 14 will take you to the top of Rose street for a quick 300m walk.
