Entire Studio at Laughing Man Studios

About this space

Two sides of the walls in the space have been reinforced with soundproof drywall and are painted grey, another wall in exposed brick, and a fourth wall facing a street-side reinforced triple pane window.

There is a large dark wood conference table in the center surrounded by 4 leather lined camel-colored seats. The studio is professionally lit with Aputure lighting (300S, 60X, multiple additional Infinibars for colored accents). Audio is captured on Shure SM7B mics with optional video through Sony FX3 4K cameras.

Our studio is located 1 block from the 1,2,3 subway stop at Chambers Street with free street-side parking and an hourly-rated parking lot located across the street. We have our full-service cafe next door with restroom accommodations.

A representative will be here to greet you upon arrival on the day of your recording and to help set up your recording. Please bring your own storage device to take your production with you, file transfer time will not be counted towards your recording session time though a SSD device will rapidly speed up the process when available.
