About this space
We are conveniently located off of Court Square and nearby Queensboro Plaza. 1.5 blocks from the E,G,M, & 7 trains, 3 blocks from the N/W, and 6 blocks from the R and F trains. We are just 5-10 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, 15 - 25 from Downtown, and a hop over the water from Brooklyn. Free street parking is available, but limited Monday - Friday before 6pm. Metered parking is available on both Jackson Ave and 43rd Ave. Outdoor lot is available on 23rd Street and garage parking is available on Crescent street.
Security Camera Notice:
We have a single unit security device in the far left/window side corner of the studio. Your privacy is important to us. Camera is accessed for emergency and liability purposes only.

Fees for additional time that was not billed during the initial booking will be due at the end of the rental period.
Rental time begins promptly at the prescribed starting time and ends promptly at the prescribed ending time, regardless if renter and/or renter’s party is late.
Rental time includes load-in, setup, tear down and cleaning. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time and no later, please consider this when booking your rental.
Strictly NO smoking is allowed in the studio.
Projects involving smoke must have prior consent of a company representative.
Music is to be kept at reasonable levels.
All small and/or hard to clean material (glitter, confetti, hair cutting, feathers, food products, body paint, etc.) require approval from company representative. $50 minimum cleaning fee required, additional charges may apply depending on studio condition at wrap.
Total 10 people max in the studio at one time.
Backdrops are free for a wall pull, $15 fee for full sweep/roll out of white seamless on the floor.

About KanopyNYC Photo Studio
A 700 square foot studio located in Long Island City, Queens. The studio offers a large wall of north facing windows that gets beautiful light at all times of the day. We are set up for all types of portraiture, fashion shoots, and any other creative projects. The space is air-conditioned, with Wi-Fi, and features an MUA staging area with large Hollywood vanity mirror, directors chairs, and an open lounge area with leather couch, and tables for working. We have livened up the space with some plant elements, and the high ceilings create an incredible ambiance.
**Your booking is for the use of the space and one backdrop wall pull only. Equipment and accessories listed are provided as a courtesy for booking and are subject to change. All gear is typically available, but if you would like to guarantee use of any specific equipment /accessories please notify us at the time of your booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
