About this space

Nestled in the lower parts of the garden is the Function Room with its own paved terrace overlooking the stunning North Devon countryside. It can be hired separately from the House and Lodge. Large windows that open onto the terrace flood the space with natural light.

There’s room enough for dining and dancing and as the evening draws near, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The paved area with its landscaped garden borders is an ideal spot where you can meet and greet your guests. It can also serve as a covered bar area to save some space in the room itself.

Set across two buildings with their own car parks, lounge, dining areas, and self-catering kitchens, Bracken Tor House provides comfortable accommodation with ensuite facilities, wonderful reception areas, and stunning views over the town of Okehampton. Bracken Tor House is located one mile from Okehampton and can be easily accessed from the A30 Okehampton Bypass. There are also bus services to Okehampton from Exeter, Bude, Newquay and Tavistock. Nearby attractions include the ruins of Okehampton Castle with walking paths and picnic spots and the Dartmoor National Park.
