We were able to use the new Marina Suite on the day, which was wonderful. The conferencing team were helpful, we had some tech issues which meant we started late, and they moved our breaktime refreshments later which we appreciated. Good coffee and nice pastries at break, the coffee and hot water stayed hot so they could be used throughout the day. Good range of teas etc. Everything was clean and tidy, we had water bottles, there was plenty of natural light and a good temperature. The screen in the venue is big, so the presentation experience was good. One of the staff took a group photo for us, which was very appreciated, as our team doesn't get together in person often.
Some of us ordered lunch from the on site restaurant and unfortunately the food took over 30 mins to come and we didn't have a great deal of time to eat. One of our orders was forgotten, so someone didn't get any lunch at all. Open access wifi, no secure wifi connection (if there was, nobody informed us about it). Ladies' toilets ran out of hand towels and toilet paper, didn't seem to get checked often. Information about parking is not very clear, a couple of our attendees paid for parking as they did not realise there was a terminal inside for day/conference guests to enter details for free parking.
