Summer Reception Space is an Outdoor Space in Fulham Palace centred on an enclosed walled courtyard surrounded by historic palace buildings.
Design: The courtyard presents an open, sunlit expanse surfaced in compacted gravel and enclosed by red-brick façades, tall sash windows and a small clock tower; a circular fountain sits at the centre beneath the open sky.
Features: The space has a hard, level surface that accommodates temporary seating and flexible furniture layouts. The area receives full natural daylight and provides step-free, wheelchair-accessible routes. The layout allows direct pedestrian access from the palace courtyard for easy arrival and setup.
Ideal for: Small or medium groups seeking a relaxed, outdoor standing reception or an informal seated gathering in a historic courtyard setting.
What guests say: The walled garden is calm and well maintained with attractive borders and mature planting. The outdoor spaces are welcoming and peaceful.
