About this space

The Library Bar is a is at the heart of our building, in what used to be the Children’s Library. You can order your drink across the original librarian’s counter.

As well as being perfect for parties, workshops and all kinds of gatherings, the Library bar can be used for smaller scale performances such as live music, spoken word, book launches and cabaret. We welcome decorations and are happy to allow the space to be dressed for your event!

The large bowler hat mural above the bar and five limerick-topped tables were commissioned by Chats Palace East-London street-artist, Angry Dan.
