Our stylish private room on the first floor offers the perfect setting for celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions. Designed for flexibility, the space comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests within the room, or up to 80 guests across the full floor with a mix of standing areas and relaxed soft seating. For seated dining, the room hosts up to 40 guests, arranged across two tables of 15 and one table of 10.
Enjoy the exclusivity of your own private bar, including draught options, and make the space truly yours by decorating it to suit your event. You’re also welcome to bring your own cake and curate the atmosphere with your own music (bands or DJs simply need to provide their own speakers).
The room is fully equipped with a screen for presentations or photo slideshows, making it ideal for both social and professional gatherings. With disabled access available, the space is welcoming to all guests.
Available for afternoon bookings from 12:00–17:00 or evening events from 18:30 until close, this versatile private room adapts effortlessly to your vision, whether you’re planning an intimate dinner, lively celebration, or polished presentation.
This private space operates on a minimum spend that is dependent on the date and time and is accompanied by a 12.5% service charge. To secure the space we require £350 as a non-refundable deposit. This pre-payment can be used towards pre-ordering from our fabulous drinks and finger food packages or as a bar tab on the night. The remainder of the minimum spend can be made up through guests purchases on the day.

I hosted my 30th birthday party at No. 1 Duke Street. I had approx. 50 people standing and it was a perfect size for the group. The food was excellent and the communication before the event was fantastic. It was a really wonderful evening and atmosphere, and the staff were very polite and helpful.
The only downside was the music system which had a cap on the volume (it can only be played at a lower level). It was great for background music but wouldn’t be suitable for having a little boogie!

It was easy to book (with Vic), easy to accommodate our requests, we could bring our birthday cake early on the day to keep it refrigerated and come early to decorate the room. The place is so lovely and well located in the heart of Richmond town. The bartender took great care of everyone throughout the night, cocktails were excellent and the food was great too! I had an amazing night, it all went exactly how I wanted and all my guests enjoyed it too!
During the night, the music stopped several times, I believe due to power tripping caused by the DJ playing on the ground floor.
