This space is perfect for connecting with larger audiences and boasts fantastic audio and visual equipment including Apple TV, blue-ray player, dual high definition Canon projectors and cordless microphones.

With our lecture capture system, we are able to stream live audio and video of presentations taking place in Connect into our other event spaces.

Rules of the space

Because ORTUS is located in a residential area, the venue is not suitable for promoter type ticketed events.


ORTUS is a purpose-built event space, which is high tech, award winning and eco-friendly. It features over 1500 sq. of dedicated, flexible event space. Larger suites can be divided into 22 rooms, over 7 levels (as and when required). All areas are equipped with innovative technology, WIFI and audio-visual equipment. The ideal venue for conferences, meetings, performances, dining, receptions and celebrations.
Located in Denmark Hill, we are only a five-minute walk from the station which has regular and direct trains to Victoria (9 minutes) and Blackfriars (10 minutes).
