The First Floor – Bright Brixton Loft for Parties, Dinners and Brand Events
Just two minutes from Brixton Station, The First Floor is a 2,400 square foot light-filled event loft above Brixton Village. It is ideal for birthday parties, private dinners, supper clubs, brand activations, workshops, photo shoots and listening sessions.
The main lounge is airy, plant-framed and flooded with natural skylight. A calm, creative canvas that transforms beautifully for every occasion. Whether you are hosting a candlelit dinner, a corporate away day or an intimate celebration, the space adapts easily while keeping its character.
Guests can move freely between the lounge, breakout zones and kitchenette. There is plenty of room to dine, dance or display. We can connect you with trusted local creatives including bar staff, DJs, stylists and florists, or you can bring your own team.

Prices
Our standard rate is £100 per hour, with a 5 hour minimum. For shorter bookings, please get in touch directly to discuss. We are open to accommodating intimate or low impact events on a case by case basis.
For longer events, we offer a full day hire package at £1,000, which includes up to 10 consecutive hours of exclusive access between 9 AM and midnight.
For extended days, we also offer:
• Early access before 9 AM - £100
• Extended access up to 15 hours - £250
For clients who want to arrive to a fully styled and stress free space, we offer a complete end to end event setup. This can include:
• Room set up and pack down
• Deep clean (always included)
• On site manager (always included)
• Lighting design
• Activated photo booth space
• Personalised backdrop and cake plinth
• Full decor styling, including signage and bespoke stationery
• Professional DJ and sound setup
• Bar staff or cocktail servers
• Live sketch artist
• Glassware and drinks packages
Everything is optional and customisable. We have built a trusted ecosystem of creatives so all you need to do is tell us the date and your vision and we will bring it to life.

Host Rules – The First Floor
To help keep the space safe, seamless, and ready for every guest, we ask that all bookings observe the following:
🔑 Access & Timing
• Your booking time must include all set up and pack down
• Early access is available upon request, with an additional fee
• Going over your allocated time may result in charges and affect your deposit
🛋 Furniture & Layout
• No furniture is permitted to be removed from the premises
• Layout can be adapted but all changes must be discussed in advance
🔌 Decorators & External Suppliers
• Details of any decorators or external suppliers arriving before your event must be provided at least three days in advance
• No nails, screws, tape, or adhesives are permitted on the walls
• Freestanding décor is welcome, and we are happy to support setup with prior notice
🚭 Smoking & Substances
• This is a no smoking and no vaping venue
• Use of canisters or other prohibited substances is strictly not allowed
• The use or presence of recreational drugs is not permitted under any circumstances
🎶 Music & Sound
• DJs and external sound systems are welcome with prior approval
• Please keep music to a respectful level for the duration of your booking
🍾 Alcohol & Catering
• We do not hold an alcohol licence
• Alcohol may be brought for private events, but cannot be sold unless the client holds a valid Temporary Event Notice (TEN)
• Kitchenette facilities are available for light prep and warming
• External caterers are welcome
🧼 Cleanliness & Property
• Deep cleaning is included
• Clients are responsible for leaving the space in a reasonable condition
• We do not accept responsibility for any personal items or equipment left on-site unattended
💰 Refundable Security Deposit
A £250 refundable deposit is required for all bookings. This will be returned within five working days, provided:
No damage has occurred
No furniture or fittings have been moved without consent
The agreed hire time has not been exceeded
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
