About this space
You will have exclusive access to our lovely Grade II* listed manor situated in the rolling green hills of North Devon, with parts dating back to the 15th century. Unlike other grand old homes, this is warm, friendly and welcoming with unlimited hot water, central heating and log fires throughout. The high ceilings and original features will get you and your employee's creativity flowing.
We work on a Monday to Thursday, Thursday to Monday multi-day booking timetable.
The estate is surrounded by agricultural farmland, with the nearest neighbors over a mile away in Baunton, which hosts all of your shopping and restaurant needs.
The Event Barn has some 340 square meters of main space, perfect for conferences, seminars, team building, award ceremonies, filming, photoshoots, networking and employee events. The barn also boasts a games room, basketball court, 5 aside football pitch, full-size snooker table, pool table, 7x6m light up dance floor, band stage, catering kitchen space and heated indoor swimming pool. Included in the hire are both tables (round and rectangular) and chairs.
Alongside the Events Barn is the main house, 13 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, large dining room, huge lounge, massive kitchen and utility room. The dining room doubles up as an excellent meeting room, with natural light and views out over the walled garden. There are two huge catering fridges and a freezer in the utility room.
We do not provide food or drink, so feel free to bring any outside catering or drinks provider (we don't charge corkage), but if needed we are more than happy to share our long list of trusted suppliers.
The estate also has the capacity for glamping and further off-site residential space is available on request.
We have on-site staff to welcome you to the estate, show you around and assist with any problems.
Exclusivity extends to all the event spaces on the estate, so no having to share.

Cancellation
Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason shall be notified to the Owners as soon as possible by telephone to phone number 07785 386622 and by email to simon@daukes.co.uk and confirmed in writing by letter addressed to Simon Daukes at The Ash Barton estate Ltd, 63 Gunterstone Road, London, W14 9BS.
If the Client cancels the booking, the Client remains fully liable for payment of the outstanding balance of the rental fee.
On receipt of notice of cancellation, the Owners will attempt to re-let the Property for the period of the booking. If the Property is re-let for the whole or part of that period, the sum payable by the Client will be reduced to the greater of:
(a) the amount of the deposit paid (or payable) by the Client to the Owners under Clause 2.1; and
(b) the difference between the aggregate amount originally payable by the Client and the aggregate amount paid to the Owners by any other client in connection with such re-letting.
If the Owners are unable to re-let the Property for whatever reason, the full amount of the rental fee shall remain payable by the Client.

Our big event barn is the perfect space for your conference during the day, easily seating 200, and keeping everyone entertained for the whole night. With the games room, indoor five-a-side pitch, basketball court, full-size snooker and pool tables, band stage, dance floor and indoor heated pool. And unlike other venues in the area, we don't have a closing time!
