The Dale Loft is a versatile and rustic, warehouse-style space available to hire in the heart of Chippendale.
The west-facing windows give you the most spectacular afternoon light, which starts creeping in after lunch, and stretches all the way into the space as you watch the sunset over the neighbouring roof tops.
The interiors at The Dale Loft is specifically designed to enhance the rustic nature of the nearly 100 year old space. Leaning into the rich creative history of the building, and adding a vintage modern flare, the Dale Loft is a perfect space for your editorial shoot, team meeting, or small gathering.
The space is wheelchair accessible, with a ground-level entrance and elevator. all doors and hallways fit a moderate/average sized wheelchair. However, please note, while bathroom is accessible via a short ramp, there isn't any hand-rails or mobility aids available.

Kate was fantastic, accommodating and very easy to communicate with. The space is excellent - high ceilings, natural light, sealed timber floors. It’s the type of space you could utilise for any event, party or gathering.
Our event was on a pretty humid day so we felt the heat without hair conditioning despite having the windows open and fans on.
Kate was an excellent host. She was ready to welcome us and our guests and made us feel really welcome. She also had their IT guy come help set up without us asking. The whole team was great.
Location was amazing, the facilities were perfect, the venue manager was amazing couldn’t recommend more
Kate is an amazing host - she is very communicative and delightful to deal with. The space itself is incredible the photos do not do it justice! Super spacious, beautiful natural light and décor. Kate is super organised everything was set up and all the projector equipment was easy to use prior to our arrival. Could not recommend this venue enough - we used this for a team offsite and everyone commented on how amazing the space was!
None - nothing not to love about this space or the host!
About The Dale
Located in the Iconic Chippendale creative Precinct, The Dale Studios is a large (6m x 6m) photographic cyclorama, photo and film studio located on Wellington st Chippendale, just a stones throw from Central One, Central Railway Station and Railway square, just look for the bright teal door.
We are a locally owned, independent studio with a wide range of flexible options, the Studio is perfect for Fashion Editorials, Portrait photography, Ecomm photography and way more!
We are committed to keeping the rich photographic cultural heritage of Chippendale alive.
Our aim is to take the historically creative inner-city suburb of Chippendale, and in particular, the Iconic Brewery Haylofts, and integrate it into the modern urban growth that is changing the suburb… all without loosing it’s rustic edge.
It’s a homage to the past, with an eye on the future.
