With spectacular views, heritage charm and premium facilities, Bell Shakespeare is an original, creative and inspiring destination for myriad events and functions. Exceptionally positioned on Pier 2/3, situated within the vibrant Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, we offer three versatile venues available for hire: The Seed, The Neilson Nutshell and our Boardroom + Green Room.
THE SEED is entirely versatile in and boasts access to a large private balcony overlooking Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge, making it the ideal location to entertain and impress.
The Neilson Nutshell and The Seed are adjoining spaces and can be hired separately for simple events or together for more complex events such as a dinner requiring a nearby kitchen, or a conference with a requirement for breakout spaces. Both venues can include access to two dressing rooms as well as the theatre foyer bar and cloakroom.
A blank canvas space, The Seed is a superb venue for a huge variety of functions and events that you can configure to your requirements.

As a NFP your venue hire fees will directly contribute towards supporting Bell Shakespeare's mainstage, community and education programs.
Prices
Day rate is minimum of 9 hours. Venue hire fee is charged at a per hour fee after the first 9 hours.
Staffing is charged on top of this and based on number of hours / number of guests.
All suppliers fees to be charged separately.

No smoking or vaping in the venue or on Pier 2/3 - patrons & guests must move to Hickson Rd to some or vape
No open flames
No amplified music on the balcony
No access to goods lift after 10pm
Cleaning quoted is for standard cleaning only during standard operating hours
Venue staff and equipment fees to be quoted for on receipt of event brief and production schedule
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day
