Brisbane CBD is among the best districts to organise a workshop in the city! You’ll find many unique venues near Brisbane City Hall and the Cathedral of St Stephen, offering beautiful surroundings that will fuel your productivity. They can be reached easily from Central Station, with many buses and ferries making the commute even easier.

Another great choice is hiring one of the workshop event spaces around Fortitude Valley, Newstead, and Herston. These neighbourhoods have some fashionable and exciting venues, ready to elevate your workshop experience! Your guests will be able to come by bus, train, or take a ride along one of the major roadways in this area. South Brisbane and East Brisbane are a great choice if you’re looking for something alternative, as they offer convenient public transport options for your guests!

Of course! If the same old meeting and training rooms aren’t exciting enough, here are some fun picks for your next workshop:

Booked Pool House at Mediterranean Luxe
4.8
5-Star Review for The Pool House – Perfect Workshop Venue! I recently hosted a boudoir and fine art nude photography workshop at The Pool House, and it was an absolute standout venue. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was going to elevate the entire experience. The house is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a fresh, welcoming feel that immediately put everyone at ease. What really made it shine for photography was the heaps of beautiful natural light pouring in through large windows and open spaces. It created soft, flattering lighting all day long—ideal for capturing intimate, empowering portraits without constantly battling harsh shadows or needing excessive artificial setup. The layout flowed perfectly for a workshop too, with plenty of room for models to move, change, and create, plus private areas for comfort and privacy. The pool and surrounding outdoor spaces added a lovely bonus for lifestyle and outdoor elements, and the overall vibe was calm, professional, and inspiring. Everything from the amenities to the attention to detail made it feel like a true sanctuary for creativity. If you’re running a photography workshop, creative session, or intimate event in the Brisbane area, I can’t recommend The Pool House highly enough. It’s rare to find a venue that ticks every box—cleanliness, light, space, and atmosphere—all in one. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rod Ramsay Photography

Booked Gallery I at The Johnson Brisbane - Art Series
4.9
Our workshop with The Johnson went off without a hitch. Feedback I received from attendees was all great. Communication with the Johnson event managers was quick, helpful and polite. I was able to ask as many questions as I needed, and was able to make changes as required without hassle. A great venue for a meeting or workshop, versatile rooms, great amenities (Catering, parking, in room whiteboards, pens, pads, water etc). Will be keeping The Johnson on our books for any future events.
