About this space

The centerpiece of our Bay Area studio is a 32′ x 30′ white corner cyc. But don’t feel like it’s your only choice. The sheer amount of wide-open space is perfect for set builds and any out-of-the-box filming.

The studio offers 100A 3-phase power and a 16 ft. electrified grid with 13 30A Edison quad receptacles.

We can equip your project with camera packages, camera support, and grip and lighting

Host rules

#1 // Our Point of Contact
Our Studio Manager is there to help. Refer all questions and needs to them including things like renting
extra gear, the use of furniture and props in the facility, need of any additional services, and if equipment
is malfunctioning or damaged.
Setiquette
#2 // Your Point of Contact
This is the teammate that runs the show on your end and will be in contact with our studio manager.
They’ll be required to be present for the entirety of the production and to inform the crew about what’s
permissible in the studio.
#3 // Overtime
Prepping and breakdown times are included in the rental times. Any additional time needed beyond the
previously discussed times will result in an overtime charge of $250/hr.
#4 // Cleanliness
Before each rental, our team preps the studio to be ready for you. We expect that your crew returns our
space in the same way as when you arrived. An extra fee of $150 will be added if the space isn’t cleaned in
addition to the mandatory $200 cleaning fee.
#5 // Waste Management
In an effort to reduce and minimize the amount of waste created, our studio will provide two trash bags
per rental day. If you generate additional waste that overflows our outside landfill and recycling bins, a
$150 fee will be added to haul away the waste.
#6 // Environmentally Conscious
We are an environmentally friendly community so we advise guests to avoid bringing plastic water
bottles. We have high-quality filter water in case you want to encourage your cast and crew to BYOBottle.
#7 // Gear
A list will be provided to you the renter indicating the rented gear. This will give an exact overview of the
gear and quantities for when the rental day ends and gear is returned.
#8 // Smoking & Under the Influence
No smoking is allowed in the studio. No one who is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances
will be allowed in the studio.
#9 // Animals
Pets aren’t allowed in the space without prior approval from a Mac House representative
