Our newly opened MK LAB Creative Photography Studio is a spacious 1,000 sq ft studio located in the Mira Mesa / Scripps Ranch corridor, just 3 minutes off the 15 freeway with easy access, free lot parking, ample street parking, and elevator access.
This versatile studio is designed for a wide range of creative productions and includes 20+ colored paper backdrop rolls, a curated mix of couches, armchairs, stools, rugs, and white photo cubes in 4 sizes (S–XL) to help you customize the look of your shoot. Whether you're producing polished brand content or simple editorial images, the space offers plenty of flexibility to bring your concept to life.
You’ll also have access to a dedicated fitting room with full-length mirrors, clothing racks, and a vanity makeup table station, making it easy for wardrobe changes, styling, and prep throughout your session.
The studio features the option between beautiful natural light and studio blackout as well as your choice of strobe or continuous lighting, both included with your booking. Additional amenities include free water, coffee, tea, sodas, high-speed WiFi, heating and air conditioning, spacious men’s and women’s restrooms, concrete floors, free parking, and elevator access.

Please note:
- Standing on furniture is prohibited
- Setup and breakdown must take place within your booked time
- Furniture and studio items must be returned to their original placement before departure
Our studio is sound treated throughout but not entirely soundproof, and we maintain a policy against loud music out of respect for other bookings and businesses operating within proximity.

This space is not soundproofed or acoustically treated.
1. No smoking anywhere in the facility
2. Absolutely no open foods or liquids on or near the equipment (including rolls)
- If taking content of food or liquid products, please message for more details. Our main concern in this is preserving the equipment and backdrop rolls from splatter that can ruin it.
3. No alcohol for consumption allowed
4. No Glitter/Sparkles, Paint, or Slime
Please clean up after yourself and leave equipment and studio space in the order you came.
