Host rules
- There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside the building or within 20 feet of the entrance of the Power Plant.
- All staff, including bartenders, are required to come from a pre-approved catering company who will provide the required insurance coverage.
- Depending on the nature of each event, vendors can arrive up to 3 hours prior to start time. Guests usually arrive 15-30 minutes prior.
- ALL vendors on-site must provide Power Plant Productions a COI as proof of Liability Insurance. Wedding couples do not need to provide insurance themselves.
- Under the direction of our event manager, your catering team is responsible for packing up your supplies, breaking down & cleaning up the studio. Your supplies can be stored at the building to be picked up on another day.

About Power Plant Productions
Power Plant Productions is a unique event space located in Philadelphia’s Old City gallery district. The venue is housed in the former Wilbur Chocolate Factory, and it retains the industrial feel of an early 1900s power plant. With original steel beams, 25-foot ceilings, and exposed brick walls, this space is perfect for any event that demands a unique and edgy atmosphere.
The venue boasts over 4,500 square feet of space, including a commercial-style kitchen that can accommodate any catering and food stylist needs. Power Plant Productions also offers two distinct photo studios. Studio A is a bright and airy space with an industrial feel, featuring large factory windows that allow natural light to pour in. Studio B is an edgy 5,000-square-foot basement space with raw concrete floors and distressed walls, perfect for any production that requires a unique and gritty atmosphere.
In addition to its unique atmosphere and versatile event spaces, Power Plant Productions also offers a preferred discount on parking for its clientele. Located directly across the street from Old City Parkominium, guests can take advantage of this convenient parking option.
