The Speakeasy Loft is an inviting, 2,500 square-foot private event space situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan's Garment District. This highly sought-after venue is characterized by its warm, intimate speakeasy vibes with stylish touches of European and industrial influences. The space features classic exposed brick walls, polished hardwood floors, and plush furniture, lending an inviting ambiance perfectly suited for a wide variety of gatherings. We can comfortably seat up to 75 guests or host up to 125 standing guests, making it ideal for cocktail parties, networking events, after parties, holiday parties, birthday celebrations, office parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, or even a bachelor/bachelorette party. Package Details
1. 3-Hour Venue Rental: Full access to the selected space in its standard layout.
2. Complimentary Setup/Breakdown: 60 minutes for setup and 30 minutes for breakdown. This time is strictly for vendor/host use; guests are not permitted in the space during these periods.
3. 3-Hour Full Open Bar: Premium service for up to 50 guests, including spirits, beer, wine, soft beverages, mixers, and garnishes. Includes all glassware, ice, and bar tools.
4. On-Site Staffing: Includes (1) Bartender and (1) Venue Representative.
5. Cleaning: Basic post-event cleaning service included.

Venue & Layout
Standard State: The floor is delivered in its standard layout and must be returned to the same state by the end of breakdown, unless LOFT39 setup and floor plan services have been added to your contract.
Rooftop Access (5th Floor Only): Please note our rooftop is accessible by stairwell only. For 5th-floor bookings, bar setup and service on the rooftop will require additional bar staff to accommodate logistics.

Service Style: All service is provided at the bar; pre-poured or table service is not permitted.
Location: The bar will be placed according to the floor's resting state floor plan unless a change is requested in writing in advance of the event date.
Staffing
Venue Representative: For the safety of the venue and guests, venue staff are required to represent the building. Please note that these staff members do not provide event or waitstaff service.
Cleaning & Damages
Your Responsibility: Basic sweeping and mopping are included. To facilitate this, you are responsible for ensuring all trash is properly placed inside provided bins by the end of your breakdown. All decorations must be removed, and all bulky items and boxes must be taken off-site.

1. 8-Hour Production Block: Full access to the 3rd Floor Speakeasy space for up to 15 guests (Film Crews, Editorial Shoots, and Small-Scale Productions).

3. A/V & Equipment: Includes (3) Sonos Wi-Fi Connect Speakers and a Coat Rack with 50 hangers.

Important Notes & Requirements
Access & Usage
Production Only: This rate is strictly for filming, photography, or editorial production. Guests or event attendees are not permitted.
Timeline: Your 8-hour block must include all setup and breakdown. All production must conclude and the space must be vacated by 4:00 PM.
Cleanup & Care
Host Responsibility: While basic cleaning is included, the host is responsible for ensuring all trash is placed in provided bins and all production equipment is removed.
Furniture: The venue is delivered in its "resting state." Any movement of house furniture must be approved by the Venue Representative and returned to its original position.
Waste Management: Host is responsible for the off-site removal of any specialty production waste, oversized crates, or bulky items.

Venue Staffing:
Check your contract for the number of staff included in your rental. The venue management team is responsible for opening and closing the venue, troubleshooting any issues with the building or amenities, guest check-in, and crowd management. At least one management personnel is required for all events at LOFT39, with additional staff added at the venue’s discretion based on the total guest count and type of event.
Bartenders are included only for LOFT39 bar packages at a ratio of 1 bartender per 50 guests. Events that purchase a bar buyout to bring their own bar must provide independent bar staff.
Cleaning:
Basic cleaning is added to the rental agreement. Renter is responsible for placing all trash in the bins before the end of breakdown arrives, any bulky items that do not fit in the bin need to be removed from the space. If extensive cleaning services are required after the event, the cost will be billed to the card on file as an additional charge at an hourly rate of $50.

Host rules
Alcohol Consumption: A bar package or bar buyout is required if you are serving drinks of any kind. Your options are:
1) Purchase a LOFT39 bar package
2) Provide your own "DIY open bar" for a buyout fee of $8 per person (no sale of alcohol allowed, all alcohol must be purchased from a licensed retailer) Contracting a third-party bar vendor or selling alcohol is strictly prohibited.
3) Host an event without a bar. No bar buyout fee applies in this case.
Crucial Regulations:
Contracting a third-party bar vendor or selling alcohol (directly or indirectly) is strictly prohibited.
Regardless of your bar choice, if alcohol is present, all guests must be 21 years or older unless otherwise approved by LOFT39 in writing.
The client is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local and state alcohol laws. LOFT39 reserves the right to deny service or remove guests in violation of these terms.
Smoking Prohibited: Smoking inside is strictly prohibited, including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and other devices.
Decorations: No glitter, sparklers, or confetti. Live candles must be covered. Nothing may be fixed to the walls, ceilings, or fixtures.
Vendor and Delivery Access: Vendors must adhere to the agreed setup and breakdown times. Deliveries must be coordinated in advance and comply with building policies.
LOFT39 offers a curated list of preferred vendors for entertainment, party rentals, A/V & lighting, and planning services. Please note that all vendors, whether preferred or outside, must be licensed and insured to work within the venue.
You are welcome to bring in an outside caterer. However, a catering buyout fee of $2 per person will be applied. This fee helps cover the additional coordination and resources required when working with external food arrangements. Any outside caterer must be a full-service, licensed, and insured company.
All events require event insurance and a credit card on file.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
