About this space

The Viscusi Gallery is a large, adaptable gallery inside the New York Hall of Science defined by an open-plan, black-box layout and infrastructure for technical event production.

Design: The space has high ceilings, an exposed black grid and continuous neutral wall panels that form a blank canvas. The floor is an open expanse that can be arranged with temporary seating, stages or freestanding displays.

Features: The gallery has Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The gallery permits its own music and allows a bring‑your‑own DJ setup. The gallery provides step-free access, wheelchair-accessible routes and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a flexible, activity-focused space for social receptions or exhibition-style gatherings.

What sets it apart: A continuous wrap-around projection surface and ceiling-mounted rig enable immersive projection mapping across the gallery walls.

What guests say: The space is spacious, clean and accessible, with wide circulation suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The layout is open and easy to navigate.
