From my very first call with John Arakaki, co-owner of St. Felix, I knew we were in good hands. Planning a reunion for The Company — our legendary music video production team from the 1980s, led by director Wayne Isham — was no small task. A hundred industry veterans, producers, editors, and artists who helped define an era of iconic videos were gathering for one unforgettable night. St. Felix made it absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning — stylish, warm, and designed with a true Hollywood sensibility. The team gave us a beautiful private area that felt both intimate and elevated, ideal for reconnecting with old friends and collaborators. The atmosphere had that effortless balance of sophistication and good vibes that’s hard to find anywhere in L.A. From start to finish, John’s communication and attention to detail were outstanding. Every question was answered, every detail handled. When we arrived, Christian, Dani, and Lauren took over seamlessly, greeting everyone like family and keeping the entire event flowing with genuine care. We had a brief technical hiccup early on, but Christian had the AV system up and running within minutes — a total pro under pressure. The food and drinks were a huge hit. Their kitchen delivered far beyond typical party fare — people are still talking about it. “Those steak skewers were unreal.” – Daniel “The veggie skewers were perfectly seasoned — best I’ve ever had.” – Samantha “That buffalo cauliflower? Next-level.” – Patrick The bartenders created a custom margarita just for our event, and it quickly became the night’s signature cocktail — bright, balanced, and absolutely delicious. A highlight of the evening came when Curt Marvis, Wayne’s longtime producing partner, delivered a moving tribute before we screened a short documentary celebrating our years of work together. The St. Felix AV setup made it effortless — crystal clear projection, smooth playback, and perfect sound — even with our last-minute tweaks. From setup to closing time, the St. Felix staff treated our reunion like it truly mattered. That kind of care and professionalism is rare, and it showed in every detail. Guests left with huge smiles, heartfelt hugs, and one shared sentiment: “Let’s do it here again.” To John, Christian, Dani, Lauren, and the entire team — thank you for helping us celebrate our legacy in such style. This venue was outstanding,featuring both impressive indoor and outdoor spaces that created a perfect atmosphere for everyone. The service was exceptional, John and staff were attentive to our needs, and we never had to request anything. The drinks were delightful, and the food phenomenal. The environment was both hip and festive, making it a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this venue for a great experience!
