About this space

Port & Park Bistro’s newly remodeled Bar Room blends warmth, comfort, and style, creating the perfect setting for private parties, cocktail receptions, birthdays, networking events, and group gatherings in the heart of Lakeview, Chicago.

The space features a cozy gas fireplace, private sound system, and a flexible mix of bar seating, high-top tables, and low-top dining tables. The room comfortably accommodates up to 32 seated guests, with an additional 14 bar seats, or up to 62 guests for standing cocktail-style events.

Guests can enjoy our full Mediterranean-inspired food menu, along with customizable catering and prix fixe menu options tailored to each event. Our full-service bar offers craft cocktails, curated wines, 12 rotating draft beers, bottles, cans, hard ciders, and specialty beverages.

Thoughtful decorations are welcome, allowing guests to personalize the space for birthdays, celebrations, corporate gatherings, and private events while enjoying Port & Park’s signature neighborhood hospitality.

We hosted my birthday party in the Bar Room and had a wonderful time. Steve, the owner, was very communicative and transparent when it came to booking, pricing, and selecting the drink/food package. Mike, the Event host was super fun, provided amazing service, and overall made sure we all had a great time. The Bar room was very cool and was more than enough space for everyone. Food and drinks were great as well.

Port and Park Bistro was the best place for our engagement party! The food, provided by the restaurant, was all excellent. The bar staff were incredible and added to the energy of the evening. Steve was great to work with and made sure that our group felt at home. We really enjoyed the total privacy of the room and entire experience!

The food was great, the space was cool, and Steve was very friendly and easy to work with. The bartender was very good. We were provided with the equipment we needed (mic). All of the guests had a great time.
The space was not cleared for us until 20 minutes or so into the time we had it reserved. There were menus on the tables and bar which showed drinks which were not included in our package which confused our guests.
