Kappou is a modern Japanese restaurant characterised by a calm, speakeasy-style atmosphere and a focused chef-driven approach to seasonal cuisine.
Design: The dining room is low-lit and minimalist, finished in warm timber panelling, slate flooring and leather seating. The room runs lengthwise toward floor-to-ceiling glazing that brings daylight into an otherwise restrained interior.
Features: The venue runs a counter-centred, multi-course omakase service produced in-house by the kitchen. The dining layout includes a long service counter and additional seating configured for table-side presentation. The drinks programme covers sake, wine and spirits, and staff can coordinate small personalised touches and event photography on request.
