Welcome to The Village, a hidden woodland gem on the Wiltshire/Somerset border (near Frome).

If you are looking for a venue that feels unpretentious, wild, and authentically yours, you have found it. We are a space for the creative, the relaxed, and the nature-lovers.

The Spaces

Nestled amongst the trees, we offer a flexible mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to suit everything from intimate micro-weddings to full-blown festival celebrations.

The Woodland: Exchange vows in our enchanting outdoor ceremony area, surrounded by nature.

The Marquee: The heart of the reception! Our marquee comes inclusive of tables, chairs, lighting, a dancefloor, and power—providing a weatherproof blank canvas for your dinner and dancing.

The Hollow: Our outdoor sheltered area, with a central fire pit to keep guests warm and toast marshmallows

The Woodland Bar: Raise a glass under the trees. Our rustic woodland bar area creates a relaxed, social hub for your guests to enjoy. With the forest as your backdrop and festoon lights overhead, it’s the ultimate spot for reception drinks and evening toasts.

Accommodation
We want you to settle in and make a weekend of it. Our packages include a stay in The Bat Barn—a cosy on-site cabin with a kitchenette, getting-ready space, and a bedroom for the couple for the night.

Food & Drink
We believe in flexibility. While we do not have a commercial kitchen, we provide the power and space for incredible local suppliers—from grazing tables to street food trucks—to feed your guests. A full bar service is available to add to your package.

We are pet-friendly (bring your dogs!), sustainable, and family-run. We provide the backdrop; you bring the vision.
