About this space
The New Century kitchen can accommodate up to 268 guests for a seated reception, or up to 600 standing.
We invite you to enjoy some of the best food and drink Manchester has to offer in a place that oozes the same mid-century charm of its sister venue upstairs.
The venue is available for exclusive private Hire, half venue hire, or we can curtain off a section for your smaller groups! You’ll find everything from Pizza to plant-based dishes to steak on offer from our independent kitchens.
Our large central bar and hidden bottle bar serve a wide range of beverages until late with DJ's and live acts providing the entertainment on weekends.
We also have communal dining tables, outdoor seating, private booths and comfy sofas and so everyone can enjoy the space from families, small groups to your canine friends.

About New Century
After years hiding in plain sight, the rebirth of New Century brings a piece of Manchester’s musical heritage back to life for a new generation. Within its stunning mid-century modern architecture, New Century creates a new social hub and platform for creative talent across 3 floors.
On the first floor, the legendary venue is back. With its original sprung dance floor, disco ceiling and state-of-the-art sound system, the hall is now hosting an eclectic programme of events.
On the ground floor our resident independent food traders are cooking up a storm with an evolving menu of local and globally inspired cuisines, served alongside local beers, wines, cocktails, coffees, and teas.
Education and nurturing the next wave of creative talent is central to what New Century is about. The dBs Institute live in the basement teaching music technology and games design at degree and post graduate level in a state-of-the-art facility.
