In one of London’s most artistic areas of Hackney Wick, Colour Design Studio offers an eclectic, cosy and intimate space thoughtfully designed with creativity and a carefully curated atmosphere.
Used as an art gallery and art studio for artist Mars Leon, the space is home for life drawing events, art workshops, intimate gatherings, film locations, photoshoots, massage therapists and many more.
The space offers a 2 level mezzanine with unique soft sculptures, large scale paintings, a collection of carefully curated vintage and custom made furniture and an abundance of natural light.
All of the furniture, including the modular sofas are light and easily interchangeable to fit the desired look for a set as well the option to request backdrop creations from Mars to fit your perfect backdrop. Please request art direction advice and backdrop ideas in advance. There is also a selection of available fabrics, ranging from silk, velvet and chiffon materials. If you would like to know more information on the fabrics available please message us with a request.
Mars is an artist, colour researcher, host and curator which is apparent through the interior aesthetic of the space being carefully colour coordinated and curated with soft furnishings, light and pastel tones of pink, green and orange.
The main area includes dressing room, bathroom and main shoot space is located on the ground-floor and has disabled access throughout apart from the second level which is accessible through 13 flights of stairs.
There is metered parking outside the studio Mon-Sunday. The nearest tube is Stratford and Hackney Wick Station.
