Restaurant at Covent Garden at Cabana @ St Giles

The staff was super attentive the whole night. The venue looked great when we arrived, with everything set up perfectly for the event. Cece was great to correspond with.

On the whole a positive experience - well prepared tasty food, reasonably priced, served in a very timely and affable manner. We have had, in the recent past, far less competence from restaurants with a smaller party size and at a far greater cost per head. So this was a positive reflection on this particular venue. Pleasent atmosphere and decor, fitting of our "summer meal" vibe. Communication in organising the event was supportive and responsive - which is a very important factor for us. We certainly wouldn't rule out returning at a future date.

There were a few minor errors in what was served to guests (dishes mixed up between tables), one person wasn't given their starter until other people on the table were receiving mains. To my knowledge these issues were rectified in each instance and the service staff were always pleasent in making these changes. One suggestion for table layout with parties: use the first name and last initial of each guest to denote who is sitting at which table - when you have several people named "Joseph" or "Thomas" etc it can lead to a little confusion if your printed layout only refers to first names. Minor thing, but hopefully helpful suggestion.

Events Manager was great, really accomodating with good eye for detail. Everything you would want and more from a good host.

Food was a little slow coming out but nothing significant.
