About The Albany
The Albany is an arts centre in the heart of Deptford that exists to inspire, develop and support creativity for the benefit of our community.
We aim to provide and support:

Whether you choose to host a rehearsal, training session or meeting, you’ll be in the heart of bustling Deptford with excellent transportation links to the city and beyond. With a café on site, community garden, and exhibition spaces there is plenty to see and do while you visit. Here at the Albany, we can offer superb facilities, great catering and tailored support for your rehearsal, workshop, training session or meeting space.
As a registered charity and an award-winning social enterprise, any income we generate is reinvested into our work. When you choose us and our spaces you’re investing in your local community.
Cafe & Garden:
The Albany Café is a light and airy space and is the perfect a breakout or lunch space for hires using the meeting rooms. We stock local suppliers and even use ingredients from our own garden into what we cook here.
Getting Here:
If coming by public transport, the nearest stations are Deptford for National Rail, Deptford Bridge Station for DLR and New Cross Station for Overground and National Rail. Buses 53, 453, 177 and 47 all stop near Deptford High Street from where it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the Albany.
The Albany does not have dedicated parking for our audience but there is a public carpark just a few minutes away on Frankham Street.
