About this space

The garden offers natural background, that is deeply grounding and relaxing, with seasonal flowers, herbs and fruit trees.

Weekdays you can just hire a semi private part of the garden with a wooden table and bench for up to 12 people, for a meeting/ gathering.
For the exclusive hire of the garden weekdays/daytime we would need to apply exclusive rates of £20 p/h.
Weekend hire is for the exclusive use of the whole garden. The whole garden area is spacious enough for 40 people, 30 seated in the main square and we can take a booking for a group/ private celebration.

The garden area consists of 4 semi private sections. The main square part has a food growing area ( and a garden kitchen being currently developed), has benches and tables, surrounded by apple blossom trees.
Woodland area consists of mini forest trail, a round green space under the Howthorn tree is surrounded by wooden benches perfect for circle gatherings, and a dedicated seating area with a sturdy wooden table and built in benches under an arch of flowering trees.

This urban garden escape, is available for hire and perfect for work socials, networking, private celebrations, birthday parties, hen parties, christening, graduation, baby showers and funerals. It is well suited to host nature themed art classes, forest school, cooking classes, photo-sessions, musical and poetry events.

It is perfect for community gatherings and social clubs who wish to host regular or one-off workshops. We invite artists, yoga and meditation practitioners, children’s activity providers to hire the space.

The café can accommodate 36- seated spaces, various table settings. We can provide a seasonal or tailored menu, external catering is allowed for private hire.
The cafe is open to the public weekdays 8am-3pm. Exclusive use for the hiring party at the weekend all day.
Disabled ground floor access to the café, garden and toilet facilities.
Table sun umbrellas and gazebos are also available.

Event offers and packages

The garden is perfect for outdoor explorers with plenty of inspiration for nature themed crafts and activities. The garden space will be decorated for the children's party. We provide the materials for water gun fights, building dens and shelters, mini play tents, hammocks, ropes and hooks for building swings. You don't have to look for external entertainers as we work with Vintage Playroom, who will be your party host. It means you don't have to buy any props or decorations and we save you time on setting it all up. We will make sure children will have lovely memories and parents can relax.

Children's garden party

£180 total

Nature and woodland themed parties offer great outdoor party games, activities and crafts with a dedicated host. The package includes the private use of the garden space for 3 hours. The party host will set up all the decorations (lantern garlands, fairy lights and buntings), table set up, gazebos or umbrellas if needed. For a water gun party we provide all the guns, there are also fabrics, ropes and hooks, bamboo sticks for den building, we got mini tents and hammocks for more garden entertainment. We have some fun party games ready with prizes. The garden has an easy access to water supply and toilet facilities. In the event of rain we can carry on outside with gazebos or move inside to the cafe space. We can offer a catering option for an extra £5 per child. It would be shared platters of fruits, savoury snacks and sandwiches. Tea and coffee included for the parents. max 16 children.

About The Rotunda

The Rotunda is based in a Grade II listed Georgian building that stands magnificently in the green area. This unique and versatile venue, offers a very attractive event space, secret garden and office spaces available to hire.

It's located in Kirkdale, North Liverpool near the Birkenhead tunnel for easy access to the Wirral and the city centre. It offers beautiful views over the green space from the big Georgian windows, filling up each room with daylight.

There is plenty of car park space available outside. All our office users are welcome to enjoy the garden for breaks and meetings.

The whole venue is secured by the gate and cameras. It also has green hedges for the privacy and noise reduction. It's got 24/7 access available to the approved users of the space.
