The Ellis Suite is our largest and most versatile event space at Windmill Farm, designed to host everything from large conferences and corporate meetings to awards evenings, training days and private functions. With capacity for up to 250 delegates theatre-style or 300 standing with a stage, the suite is ideal for businesses looking for a professional venue just minutes from Lincoln.
This flexible space can be configured to suit a wide range of event types, including conferences, networking events, exhibitions, presentations, team training sessions and gala dinners. The suite comfortably accommodates 250 for a seated dinner, 80 boardroom or classroom-style, and offers full layout flexibility to match your event requirements.
The Ellis Suite comes fully equipped with built-in AV facilities, projector and screen, microphone and PA system, Wi-Fi and adaptable staging options. Our experienced events team is here to assist with room setup, catering coordination and on-the-day support to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Located just 10 minutes from Lincoln city centre, Windmill Farm offers free on-site parking, EV charging points and comfortable hotel accommodation, making it an excellent choice for both local and regional events. With easy access to the A46 and nearby rail links, the venue is convenient for delegates travelling from across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

Booking & Timings
Access to the function room is available only during the agreed hire times.
Setup and pack-down times must be included within the booking unless arranged in advance.
Events must finish at the agreed time to avoid additional charges.
Capacity & Layout
The maximum capacity for the Ellis Suite must not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Final guest numbers and room layout requirements must be confirmed at least 5 working days prior to the event.
Changes requested on the day may not always be possible.
Catering & Refreshments
All food and beverages must be provided by Windmill Farm unless agreed in advance.
Special dietary requirements should be submitted at least 5 days before the event.
External catering is not permitted without prior written approval.
Equipment & Decorations
The venue will provide agreed AV equipment, furniture and setup as confirmed at booking.
Any additional equipment required must be requested in advance and may incur extra charges.
Decorations are permitted but must not damage walls, ceilings, furniture or fixtures.
No confetti, glitter or adhesives that may cause damage are allowed.
Noise & Behaviour
All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, the venue and other guests.
The venue reserves the right to refuse service or end an event if behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
Music and sound levels must remain at an appropriate level and comply with venue licensing regulations.
Health & Safety
All exits and fire routes must remain clear at all times.
Any external suppliers must comply with venue health and safety requirements.
The booker is responsible for ensuring guests follow venue policies.
Damage & Liability
The organiser is responsible for any damage caused by guests, contractors or equipment during the event.
Any damage or excessive cleaning required may be charged after the event.
Final Details & Payment
Final numbers and catering choices must be confirmed in advance.
